Foreign lawyers awarded Kazakhstan's 'Dostyk' Order

ASTANA. December 15. KAZINFORM /Gulnara Zhandagulova/ On the threshold of Kazakhstan's Independence Day a group of prominent foreign lawyers was awarded the Kazakh state order 'Dostyk" (Friendhsip) of the II degree by the President's Decree as of December 7, 2010; Kazinform refers to the press service of the Constitutional Council of Kazakhstan.

President of the European Commission for Democracy through Law of the Council of Europe (the Venice Commission) Gianni Buquicchio, Chairman of the International Union of Lawyers Andrei Trebkov and expert of German Technical Cooperation Society Rolf Knieper were awarded 'Dostyk' Order for their services to public and social activity, significant contribution to socio-economic and cultural development, strengthening of friendship and cooperation between nations.
