TANA. September 20. KAZINFORM Foreign debt of the banking sector of Kazakhstan has decreased to USD 16.6 bln in March, 2011. Prime Minister Karim Massimov has said it at the session of the parliamentary faction of Nur Otan People's Democratic Party.
"Foreign debt of the banking sector of Kazakhstan has decreased from USD 46 bln in 2007 to USD 16.6 bln in March, 2011. Foreign debt of second-tier banks decreased to USD 29.4 bln. Assets of the National Fund increased from USD 14.7 bln in January, 2007 to USD 40.3 bln in August, 2011," K.Massimov emphasized.
