Fog and high wind in store for Kazakhstan throughout Friday

Due to the anticyclone ridge, snow is to batter the country’s northwest, north, and east. The weather with no precipitation is expected in other parts of Kazakhstan.

The country is also forecast to observe foggy conditions today. Black ice and high wind are forecast for Kazakhstan's western, northwestern, and southeastern parts, while the northern and eastern parts are set to face blizzards.

Heavy snow was expected in the north and southeast of Kazakhstan on January 9.
