Fog and stiff wind grip most regions of Kazakhstan

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Blizzard, fog, black ice and bleak wind will take hold of Kazakhstan today, according to Kahydromet, Kazakhstan's national forecaster.
Blizzard and stiff wind with gusts up to 15-20 meters per second are expected in Akmola region today. North Kazakhstan, East Kazakhstan, Pavlodar and Karaganda regions will be hit by fog, strong wind and blowing snow. Fog will blanket Kostanay region. West Kazakhstan region is gearing up for ground blizzard. Fog and black ice will persist in Almaty and Atyrau regions. Wind is also expected in Kyzylorda, South Kazakhstan and Zhambyl regions.
