Florida-based firm to build first ever floating city

FLORIDA. November 30. KAZINFORM An ambitious plan to build a "Freedom Ship" capable of housing almost 50,000 people on a free-floating vessel is seeking $10 billion in funding.
According to media reports, the vessel will be more than a mile long and include shops, homes and businesses, as well as an airport and a dock for cruise ships.
Other amenities would include a baseball stadium, an aquarium and schools.
The 25 stories high ship will house thousands of people permanently. Experts say the "Freedom Ship" will be the largest vessel ever built, and the first ever floating city M. Gooch, Freedom Ship International director and vice president, said he is confident the project will raise $1billion - enough t o start construction - and then will seek another $9 billion as it move forward, Kazinform refers to the Arab News.
The Florida-based firm said that the ship will never have to dock, and will sail constantly.
