Flame of Asian Games travels through Kostanay

KOSTANAY. January 20. KAZINFORM /Peter Plakhotnikov/ The Flame of the Asian Games travels through Kostanay. This city became the ninth city of 16 ones to welcome the Flame of the Asian Games.
The Flame arrived in Kostanay yesterday evening and today in the afternoon it travels along Kostanay. The first stage of the relay started in Kostanay City-Center. 60 torch bearers are involved in the relay. They are famous sportsmen, sports journalists, representatives of business circles who support sport in the region.
From 1:30 the Flame of the Asian Games burns in a special bowl in the City-Center. People in Kostanay are truly interested in it. The second stage of the relay starts from this bowl and finishes in the Sports Palace where a special concert will be held. Upon the completion of the events in Kostanay the Flame will travel to Petropavlovsk.
