Flame of Asian Games arrived in Taldykorgan
The torch of the 7th Asian Games arrived at the airport of Taldykorgan yesterday at 8 p.m. It was met by the governor of the region Serik Umbetov, public figures of the city and representatives of mass media.
The department of tourism and sport selected together with the Direction of the 7th Asian Games Relay 60 torch bearers.
Deputy governor Ansar Musakhanov said at the press conference held at the airport that the flame would stay in the city for three days. On the evening of January 27 after the Taldykorgan stage of the relay the Flame will travel to Karaganda.
'The Flame will be kept in the regional office of the National Bank in Taldykorgan. During the day all the people willing to see the Flame may come to the bank and see it. Taking pictures of the Flame is also allowed', director of the regional office of the National Bank Gulmira Akhmetova specified.
