Five cars' crash left one dead and two injured in Karaganda region

KAZINFORM - In Karaganda region on "Almaty-Yekaterinburg" road five cars faced each other in the accident, which left one person dead and two injured, the press service of the regional Department of Internal Affairs says. According to the police, the accident occurred on July 12 on "Almaty - Yekaterinburg" road at 30km from Saryshagan village .

"A 32-year-old driver of "Mercedes 260, " resident of Astana, moving in the direction of Almaty, overtaking "Scania" car, driven by a 32-year resident of Kaskelen, made a tangential collision with a motor vehicle in front of "Scania" called "Toyota Camry 20" driven by a 40-year-old resident of Belagash village, moving in the same direction, " the statement reads.

As a result, the driver of the hit "Toyota Camry 20" lost control, went into the oncoming lane and collided with a motor vehicle "Volkswagen Passat" with a 57-year-old driver, a resident of Taraz. After that "Volkswagen Passat", taking off on the next "oncoming", collided head-on with a car - "Mercedes Benz 815".

"As a result of the accident the driver of "Volkswagen Passat" died from his injuries on the spot. His passengers, a 47-year-old woman and her 8-year-old son, both residents of Taraz, with various injuries were taken to a military hospital of the Defense Ministry of Priozersk ", the press service of the Internal Affairs of the Karaganda region reports.
