First Vice PM surveyed construction of Aktobe transport-logistic center

AKTOBE. February 4. KAZINFORM. /Samal Yendibayeva/ First Vice Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Umirzak Shukeyev has got acquainted with the progress of construction of the transport-logistic center "Aktobe-center" LLP today.
The project is important for all branches of the economy and included in the general service scheme of the transport-logistic system of "Western Europe - Western China" international transit corridor.
The project has no analogues in western Kazakhstan. It includes three A-class terminals with the total floor area of 12.4 thousand sq m.
The center will be put into service in July 2010. It will allow to create 800 jobs.
Vice Premier Shukeyev approved the project and noted that it was necessary to create the same center in southern and central Kazakhstan. The launch of the transport logistic center will enable to cut prices for goods by 10-15%. The enterprise is planning to build one more terminal on the border with Russia.
