First Vice PM pays working visit to Pavlodar rgn

In Ekibastuz the first Deputy PM got acquainted with the activities of "Orica Kazakhstan" JSC which is part of a group of companies of the Australian Concern ''ORICA'', the world leader in manufacturing of explosives and components. He also visited "Prommashkomplekt" LLP on which territory a new plant for the production of innovative switches and processing of railway wheels was built. B. Sagintayev also attended a local children's music school.

In Pavlodar the first Deputy PM visited modernized "Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant" JSC which has announced the transition of Pavlodar refinery project to the next stage owing to signing a contract for construction and installation works with the Romanian company SR Rominserv SRL. Today, the production capacity of the refinery amounts to 7.5 million tons of oil per year.

In ''Pavlodar" SEZ Sagintayev checked the progress of construction of the plant for petroleum coke calcination. He stressed that the construction of the plant for petroleum coke calcination is an important step in getting aluminum using domestic raw materials.

Following the visit the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan held a meeting on the further development of "Pavlodar" SEZ and problematic enhancement of Pavlodar region. Sagintayev instructed the regional Akim to intensify the work on the implementation of the SEZ projects and take all measures to launch businesses in a timely manner.

On the same day Bakytzshan Sagintayev met with the members of the Regional Council of entrepreneurs. The round table focused on business development in the region.
