First stage of infrastructure construction at Khorgos Center to be finished in H2, 2010

Vice Prime Minister - Minister of Industry and New Technologies of Kazakhstan Asset Isekeshev made it public at the sitting of the Ministry on July 22.

'The Head of the State set certain goals within '2020 Strategy' and the Forced Industrial-Innovative Development program. Implementation of these goals is imposed on our Ministry and all issues must be solved by the end of the year. One of major goals is finishing the first stage of infrastructure construction at the Khorgos International Center of Boundary Cooperation', A. Issekeshev said.

The Minister noted that five draft bills were planned to be developed and adopted during that span of time such as bills on industrial politics, special economic zones, use of atomic energy, bills on investments and on energy conservation and energy efficiency.

Besides, 13 branch programs are to be approved on development of spheres of economy supervised by the Ministry.
