First Deputy Prime Minister Sagintayev visited Karaganda region enterprises

First of all, Sagintayev reviewed the progress of construction of Zhezkazgan-Beineu railroad, which is designed to provide connection between Aktau port and central regions of Kazakhstan and create conditions for development of coal, oil and gas, copper, iron and other deposits.

Afterwards, the First Vice Prime Minister visited LLP "Kaztechfilter" producing filters for mining equipment. The enterprise plans to sell filters not only in Kazakhstan, but also in Russia, Uzbekistan.

Later, Sagintayev visited LLP "Kazakhmys Smelting", a sports complex and an engineering school of "Kazakhmys" Corporation.

Upon the results of his trip, the Minister was informed of the course of implementing the projects within the framework of the comprehensive plan on socio-economic development of Zhezkazgan, Satpayev towns and Ulytau district for 2012-2017.

Zhezkazgan and Satpayev towns are included in the list of 27 single-industry towns of Kazakhstan. Sagintayev urged the akimat of Karaganda region to control over the key projects in these towns, maximally use opportunities provided by the Business Road Map-2020 and provide grants for establishment of new enterprises.
