First adventure race expedition to be held in Kazakhstan

ATY. June 29. KAZINFORM /Yelena Ilyinskaya/ An adventure race expedition titled "Zolotoy Telenok" (Golden Calf) will take place in Kazakhstan for the first time on July, 14-17; Kazinform refers to the press-service of the Organizational Committee.

According to the organizers of the race expedition "OFF ROAD Kazakhstan" Public Union, Nur Otan Party, Akimats of Almaty city, Akmola, Karaganda and Almaty regions the race expedition will start in Almaty and finish in Burabay Town.

The event aimed at rising of international image of Kazakhstan, popularization of the national transport and development of jeep movement in Kazakhstan as well as propaganda for health lifestyle and education of patriotism.

The length of the route is over 1 500 km. The race covers several stages and includes the elements of mud-locked roads including intellectual tasks connected with search and attaining of passing points.

The full route of the race includes such countries as Almaty, Taldykorgan, Balkhash, Karaganda, Astana and Borovoye.
