Fires kill one, injure two in regions of Kazakhstan

ASTANA. November 28. KAZINFORM One man is dead and two are hospitalized due to fires in two regions of Kazakhstan, Kazinform has learnt from the Ministry of Emergencies.
One of the apartments in a 5-story residential complex caught fire in Kostanay region. The firefighters called the scene put out the fire in less than 15 minutes as it covered an area of 2 square meters. Nonetheless, 18 people were evacuated due to the accident. Two people, 36 and 34, were taken to a hospital with thermal burns.
Another midnight fire in Karaganda region killed a 47-year-old man. The blaze engulfed the private house and destroyed the area of 144 square meters. The emergency crew were unable to save the victim.
