Fire destroys 8 tons of sunflower seeds in Kostanay region

KOSTANAY. KAZINFORM - A fire has destroyed up to 8 tons of sunflower seeds in Kostanay, the regional emergencies department reports.
A grain dryer at the grain reception center of Vladimirskoye LLP caught fire on Wednesday (December 3). The blaze covered the area of 25 square meters destroying from 6 up to 8 tons of sunflower seeds in the grain dryer. Firefighters summoned to the scene put out the flames in a matter of minutes. An investigation was launched to determine the cause of the fire.
