Fire at South Africa retirement home fire 'kills 18'

ASTANA. August 2. KAZINFORM A fire at a retirement home in South Africa has left 18 people dead, officials say. Kazinform refers to BBC.
Several more were injured in the blaze which broke out at around 2100 on Sunday, emergency officials said.
The cause of the fire 50km east of Johannesburg is not yet known.
Some 80 residents of the care home in Nigel were safely evacuated to a local church, where several received medical treatment, local media reported. Kazinform cites BBC. See www.bbc.co.uk
