Finnish scientists, reps of People's Assembly of Kazakhstan met

Director of Russian and East European Studies of Helsinki University Arto Luukkanen headed the Finnish delegation.

Deputies of Mazhilis of the Kazakh Parliament, representatives of Assembly Secretariat of the Presidential Administration, Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, scientists and journalists represented Kazakhstan.

The event was dedicated to the preparation of unique Finnish publication about Kazakhstan. In the course of the meeting the guests familiarized with principal mechanisms of the present national policy as well as experience of our country with the OSCE structures.

The guests were shown documental film "My Heart - Kazakhstan" on activity of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan. Following the results of the meeting the guests pointed out the positive experience of Kazakhstani model of interethnic interaction and achievement in human rights policy.
