Finnish President Alexander Stubb to visit Kazakhstan this year
On Wednesday evening, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a phone talk with his Finnish counterpart Alexander Stubb at the latter’s request, Kazinform News Agency reports.

Both presidents discussed the current state and prospects for promoting bilateral cooperation, confirming mutual commitment to further expand trade and economic as well as cultural and humanitarian ties.
In a bid to give an additional impetus to interstate relations, President of Finland Alexander Stubb confirmed his readiness to pay a visit to Kazakhstan this year.
The importance was highlighted to negotiate details of the upcoming high-level talks that are set to bring Kazakh-Finnish partnership to a new level.
In conclusion, the two sides exchanged views on a number of ongoing issues of international agenda, stressing the need to coordinate efforts within multilateral organizations in order to ensure sustainable development, promote global peace and security.
