Finland welcomes opening of Kazakh embassy in Helsinki

ASTANA. January 12. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ Thursday Kazakh Minister for Foreign Affairs Yerzhan Kazykhanov met with Kimmo Kiljunen, Special Envoy of OSCE Chairman-in-Office, to discuss bilateral relations between Kazakhstan and Finland.
At a briefing after the meeting Mr. Kimmo Kiljunen said that Finland welcomed the intention of Kazakhstan to open its embassy in Helsinki. According to him, the sides also discussed the issues connected with the upcoming parliamentary elections and the current political situation in Kazakhstan.
