Financing of S Kazakhstan's education sphere increased threefold over last four years

SHYMKENT. February 16. KAZINFORM /Tatyana Pylayeva/ In 2009 expenses for the education sphere of South Kazakhstan oblast from the budget made up KZT 90.4 bln; the region's akimat (administration) informs. Amount of the finance directed to the education sphere over the last four years increased threefold.
During the year there were opened 61 kindergartens for 4,377 children. The total number of preschool organizations reached 244. as of January 1, 2010 35 new schools were put into commission, including 24 schools - within the framework of 100 schools, 100 hospitals program. There was also held heavy repairs of 300 educational facilities to the amount of KZT 7.3 bln.
