Financial Police initiated 29 cases of illegal bankruptcy

ASTANA. August 5. KAZINFORM /Kurmat Samarkhan/ The financial police has initiated 29 criminal cases of illegal bankruptcy during 6 months, whereas there were 19 cases during the same period of 2008 the press-service of Kazakhstan's Agency on Fight against Economic and Corruption Crimes reported.
According to the Agency the amount of damage made KZT 338 mln 800 thousand from which KZT 247 mln 200 thousand was compensated.
Another form of the illegal bankruptcy is a premeditated bankruptcy whereas 13 criminal cases were opened by the Financial Police.
In addition, 2 criminal cases were opened upon false bankruptcy.
