Final list of presidential candidates to be presented Feb 24 - CEC

ASTANA. February 21. KAZINFORM /Askar Bimendin/ The Central Election Commission (CEC) has finished accepting documents from presidential candidates on Sunday, February 20. The total number amounts to 22, including 18 male and 4 female.
CEC Chairman Kuandyk Turgankulov has announced it today at a national seminar-sitting on organization of preparation and holding of early presidential election.
According to him, 22 presidential candidates were nominated for a President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
"We will give information about who remains a candidate for presidency on February 24," the Chairman said.
Registration of the promoted candidates should be finished on March 2, 2011.
