The world's football governing body, FIFA, imposed a financial penalty of 50,000 Swiss francs (over $56,170) on the Algerian Football Union after one of the national team's fans used a laser pointer to blind the Russian goalkeeper during the Group stage clash between Russia and Algeria last week at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, Kazinform refers to ITAR-TASS.
