Festival of culture and language held in Oslo

ASTANA-OSLO. KAZINFORM - On May 9, the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Norway in cooperation with the Kazakh-Norwegian Cultural Center took part in the Festival of culture and language organized by the Municipality of Oslo, Kazinform refers to the Kazakh MFA's press service.
The stand of Culture of Kazakhstan contained the photo exhibition of cultural-historical, archaeological sites, modern architecture of Astana, Almaty's Olympic venues, traditions and customs of the Kazakh people, the exhibition of national dresses and books about Kazakhstan. The participants were also able to familiarize with arts and crafts, listen to the folk music, see the national dance performed by the head of the Kazakh-Norwegian Center Almagul Kalelova, watch video «Welcome to Kazakhstan!», try the national cuisine. The stand of Culture of Kazakhstan enjoyed great popularity and received high marks from the Norwegians who expressed a wish to visit Kazakhstan.
