Fashion designer Gaultier stages show in Moscow train station

MOSCOW. May 15. KAZINFORM World-renowned French fashion designer Jean Paul Gaultier has staged a fashion show in one of Moscow's oldest train stations, making his long-lasting dream come true; Kazinform refers to RIA Novosti.

The show, part of the Chereshnevy Les arts festival, took place in the Kazansky Train Station on Moscow's Komsomolskaya Square.

Gaultier told journalists he had always dreamed of having a show in such an unusual setting.

"Once I wanted to stage a show in the Lyon Train Station [in France], but it was not realized, and I quit this idea. And now my dream has come true in Moscow," Gaultier said.

"I think it is the most beautiful station in Moscow. I was very impressed with the combination of colors in the date hall. Moreover, train stations symbolize journeys, and each one of my collection is also a journey of some sort," he said; Kazinform cites RIA Novosti.
