Fans of classical music enjoy La Traviatta above the water

ASTANA. July 8. KAZINFORM Over three days traditional evening of classical music "Sound River" have been filling the riverwalk of the city with unforgettable melodies of jazz, classical and symphonic music. This year the concert was held on the pontoon on Esil river, which was made in a shape of an opened shell.
Kuanysh Orazgaliev, production director of the classical music evenings "Sound River" says:
"The festival "Sound River" is dedicated to the 15th anniversary of our capital. There were concerts of popular and classical music. there was a symphonic orchestra of Almaty opera and ballet theatre named after Abay. Conductors: Arman Orazgaliev and maestro Sandu who was specially invited".
On the second day a popular opera in 4 actions "La Traviata" by Giuseppe Verdi sounded above the water wor the very first time. The evenings were completed with a concert of jazz music by big bands form Almaty and Astana.
