Family of four Russians killed in car accident in N Kazakhstan

PETROPAVLOVSK. July 30. KAZINFORM /Sergey Kuznetsov/ A family of four was killed in a fatal car accident in North Kazakhstan region late on Friday; regional police department said Saturday.
The family, 36-year-old parents and their children aged 13 and 8, came to their relatives in Kazakhstan from the city of Novosibirsk, Russian Federation. Another passenger aged 22 - a relative of the dead - was admitted to hospital with injuries.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the cause of the accident was that the driver lost control of his car. It is not excluded that the driver fell asleep or was distracted. The driver and passengers were not wearing seat belts.
Further investigation is underway.
