Facts of child labour exploitation in the capital detected within “Employment” action

Within the framework of the actions there were measures aimed at detection of minors’ labour exploitation, prevention and prophylactics of violations among teenagers during summer vacation, detection of drinking alcohol and being in entertaining places at night.

“Over 3 days during “Employment” action police officers detected 4 cases of child labour exploitation. During the roadstead measures 22 minors were sent to territorial AIA for various administrative violations, including hooliganism, riot, neglect and vagabondism. 190 minors and 194 registered difficult families were examined according to a place of living”, - reports the agency.

20 adults were brought to administrative responsibility for default on child-rearing obligations.

Thus, employees of juvenile police of Astana city DIA detected a fact of a 14-year-old pupil of regular school being unaccompanied by legal representatives at night. As a result the girl’s mother was brought to administrative responsibility. Also police officers detected a fact of illegal child labour exploitation - 15-year-old teenager was selling fruit from a car without legal representatives and corresponding documents. After this fact a report was sent to Saryarka district prosecutor’s office of Astana city for violation of the RoK legislation.
