Extra GDP growth in CU states to hit USD 400 bln by 2015 -M. Mussatayev

ASTANA. April 6. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ By 2015 extra growth in GDP in the Customs Union's countries will hit USD 400 bln, Kazinform quotes Under Secretary General of the EurAsEC Murat Mussatayev as saying.
"According to the Institute of Economic Forecasting of the Russian Academy of Sciences, removal of customs barriers in mutual trade will facilitate the economic growth and additional rise in GDP will exceed USD 400 bln by 2015 or 15-20%", Mussatayev said during the MINEX Central Asia-2011 forum in Astana today.
"By December 2010 the total foreign trade turnover had grown by 20.3% compared to June 2010. Mutual trade had risen by 13.8% over this period", he added.
"Besides, export growth made 20.3% and import rose by 32.4% in the abovementioned period", Mussatayev concluded.
