Exports of non-primary goods from Kazakhstan to China by rail up 19%

In the first six months of 2024, Kazakhstan’s non-primary exports by railway reached up to 10 million tons, increasing by 7% compared to a year before, Kazinform News Agency correspondent reports.

The country’s exports to China rose 19% alone, standing at 6.8 million tons, the press service of the Kazakh Prime Minister informed.

Kazakhstan also observed growth in exports of chemical and mineral fertilizers – 11%, non-ferrous metals – 9%, ferrous metals – 15%, as well as flour, salt, vegetable oil and combined fodder – 11%.

Earlier it was reported that the Kazakh agriculture ministry continues its work as part of the Head of State’s instruction to promote export as well as the protocol on veterinary requirements signed between Kazakhstan and China.
