EXPO 2017 city building and construction works to start this May

ASTANA. KAZINFORM The main building and construction works of the Astana EXPO 2017 exhibition complex are set for the period ranging from May 2014 through December 2016, the Astana EXPO 2017 National Company JSC said.
The master plan was worked out jointly with German Albert Speer Company and was approved by the President of Kazakhstan. The exhibition area will host the national pavilion of Kazakhstan, international, theme and corporate pavilions, trade, entertainment and service facilities. EXPO 2017 in Astana will run three months starting from June 10 to September, 2017. Above 100 countries, about 5 mln visits and 2 mln visitors are expected to take part in it.
