Explosive device detonated and killed a man in Almaty region

The victim was a shepherd, who, while grazing, was wandering into the territory of a neighboring farm, was blown up by an explosive device, allegedly laid specifically to protect against unauthorized persons. Preliminary inquiries revealed that around this farm for security reasons there were set up all sorts of traps, one of which hit the cattleman of a neighboring farm.

According to the preliminary version, the installation of traps had been made by a 28-year-old son of a farm, working in one of the military units of Taldykorgan. Under the guise of terrifying traps there have also been installed four flares.

Due to the fact that the suspect is a soldier, pre-investigation materials with the appointment of explosive technical expertise were transferred to the military department of Investigation in Taldykorgan garrison.
