Experts on why A. Shayakhmetova survived AN-2 crash in Zhambyl region

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - As the experts believe, Assem Shayakhmetova, the only survivor of the plane crash in Zhambyl region, is alive now because she was sitting in the rear end of the plane, deputy head of the Civil Aviation Committee of the Ministry of Investment and Development of Kazakhstan Serik Mukhtybayev told answering journalists' questions.
"She was close to the door in the rear end of the plane and it could save her life. The crash was really severe. The only piece of the plane left is the tail end," he commented.
