Exhibition of Kazakh culture opened in Poland

ASTANA. September 11. KAZINFORM An exhibition titled 'Culture of Kazakh People and Other Nations in Central Asia' was opened in Plotsk city in Poland; the press-service of the Kazakh Embassy in Poland said.

During the exhibition the items of craft, musical instruments, national clothes and headdresses as well as antiques made of ceramics and bronze of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan were demonstrated at the exhibition. The main showpiece of the exhibition became the original Kazakh yurt with the height of 3.5 m and diameter - 7 m.

The yurt and other showpieces of the exhibition were kindly presented by former Ambassador of Poland in Kazakhstan Vladislav Sokolovsky.

A photo exhibition 'Modern Kazakhstan' was also included into the program of the exhibition as well as blockbuster 'Nomads' shown in Poland language. Representatives of the city hall, residents of Plotsk, Polish people of art and connoisseurs of culture took part in the event. The representatives of the Kazakh Embassy in Poland presented the books about Kazakhstan to Deputy Mayor of Plotsk city Petr Kubera and Plotsk Art Gallery. The residents of Plotsk city showed a keen interest in the culture and life of modern Kazakhstan.
