Exhibition from collections of the personal archive of the Head of the state opened for the Day of the First President

“The exhibition “Historical choice. Inception” is unique for it represents materials from the personal archive of Nursultan Nazarbayev. There are notebooks, personal notes of different ages, starting from the 1970s to the election campaign of 1991. The second range of documents includes different certificates, rewards (starting from the 60s) characterizing the personality of the future President with active citizenship. The third range of documents includes a big complex of newspaper material of the 60-90s creating necessary historical background in order to apprehend the deepness and complexity of processes which took place in Kazakhstan in 1991. Besides, an important package of materials includes documents, authorizing medals, certificates, badges of merit and the first orders. Therefore, we create a complete complex characterizing the start of the way of a person who was on the peak of political power for a reason in 1991 at the moment of historical choice”, - deputy director of the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kulyaisha Aktayeva told astana.kz.

It’s worth noting that exposition materials tell about school, juvenile years, about Komsomol, party and state career of N.A. Nazarbayev. In addition to the main exposition, the video hall represents documentary video chronicle, thematic films. The exhibition “Historical choice. Inception” will last till January 27, 2014.
