Exhibition "Cuba - My Love" opened in Astana

ASTANA. January 12. KAZINFORM /Zhanna Korkitova/ An exhibition entitled "Cuba - My Love" has been opened today at the Modern Art Museum in Astana. The event is dedicated to the 52nd anniversary of Independence Day of this country.

The exhibition is organized by the Embassy of Cuba in Kazakhstan, 'Kazakhstan-Cuba' Friendship Group and the Modern Art Museum.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cuba to Kazakhstan Abelardo Fabio Hernandez Ferrer brought to the attention of the gathered the works of the Cuban masters of art and told about the history, culture and socio-economic development of his country.

Over 150 art reproductions of the Cuban artists, photos of the national hero of Cuba José Martí, prominent political figure Fidel Catsro and Commandant Che Guevara are presented at the exhibition.

The visitors can enjoy the photo expositions devoted to culture and tourism, the city of Havana as well as souvenirs, books, journals, DVD and CD disks.
