ASTANA. February 6. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ The Government offered banks to restrict lending of non-residents, sell assets abroad and return sources to the country. Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Massimov has said answering questions of deputies within an enlarged session of ?Nur Otan? Party?s faction; Kazinform reports.
?Some of them followed the proposal, the others did not. Two thirds of the resources on external lending are accounted for one bank ? ?Bank TuranAlem?. This led to solutions we talk about?, K.Massimov said.
As for unemployment the Prime Minister noted that a level amounting to 8 percent should not increase. ?In theory, the state should not interfere in such issues. But at present the executive power must take active measures. All things we talked about, including the problem of South Kazakhstan oblast, cover the whole country and that program, which was elaborated and was reported by the governor of the oblast, should solve all problems?, the Prime Minister said.
