Ex-Pavlodar region governor's press secretary comments on his voluntary resignation

PAVLODAR. December 22. KAZINFORM The real reason for departure of Erlan Aryn, the former head of Pavlodar region has recently been revealed.
His press secretary Ms Kunslu Issinova released an official media statement as regards Aryn's resignation.
"Erlan Aryn, governor of Pavlodar region, stepped down voluntarily. One of his advisors is suspected of bribery. Mr. Aryn believes that as the chief executive of the regional administration he is responsible for all that's going on. As a man of principle, he stuck to his guns and decided to quit voluntarily. But he fully supports President Nazarbayev and his policy," Ms Issinova said.
