Ex-director of Kazakh Frontier Service sentenced to 11 years in jail

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - A court in Astana has sentenced former head of the Kazakh Frontier Service Nurlan Dzhulamanov to 11 years in prison today, the press service of the Military Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan informs.
Ex-chief of the Kazakh Frontier Service of the National Security Committee Dzhulamanov was convicted of accepting multi-million bribes (173 181 750 tenge and 436 000 US dollars) and forming an organized criminal group.
Dzhulamanov will spend the next 11 years behind bars at a maximum security penal colony.
