ASTANA. August 20. KAZINFORM - The match, which was held in the capital of Kazakhstan at "Astana-Arena" stadium, ended with the score 2:0. The hosts managed to open the score in the 12th minute of the game, vesti.kz informs.
The Karaganda team captain Andrey Finonchenko pushed the ball past the English goalkeeper Fraser Forster. And this was the first goal of the season in European Champions League.
In the second half, Karaganda team managed to increase its advantage. The goal was made by Sergey Khizhnichenko.
NOTE: The second match between "Shakhter" and "Celtic" will be held on August 27 in Glasgow at "Celtic Park" stadium.
