Eurasian Media Forum to start its work in Almaty

During two days the Forum participants - experts and politicians, officials, analysts and political scientists - will discuss a number of burning issues and events of late.

One of the major topics is Kazakhstan's chairmanship in the OSCE: importance, expectations and opportunities. The fact of Kazakhstan's chairmanship in the OSCE demonstrates that tools of the international policy significantly change. Facing common challenges, the countries of the world understand that ideological prejudice, distinction between ins and outs, the European and Asian civilization outdated and should give way to new priorities.

Another topic of the Forum is named "Pandemic of Fear". There are many questions on mass media ability to give coverage to some events adequately and in a responsible manner in connection with a tendency of stirring up of various kinds of global news sensations. The Forum participants will also discuss the issues of Internet zone regulation, the phenomenon of social networks development and the issues of political image.
