Eurasian integration - uniting idea for Kazakhstanis

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - The uniting idea for Kazakhstanis is Eurasian integration, President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev said putting forward five constitutional reforms for strengthening of the statehood of Kazakhstan during the 16th congress of the Nur Otan Party.

"What is the uniting idea for us? In my opinion, Eurasian integration is the most important and uniting idea for all the people of Kazakhstanis. We are right between Europe and Asia. It's been like this for a long time, it was the same for our ancestors and it would not change for our children and grandchildren," the President noted.

According to him, the Eurasian integration really helps Kazakhstan to absorb the best qualities of Asia and Europe at the same time.

"Just have a look at our people, the way we dress, the way we talk. We are tolerant and modern people. We understand Asia and we understand Europe. We are Asians and Europeans at the same time and this is good for us. It is really good for our children to be born in Kazakhstan because they can have good things from both worlds," the Head of State stated.
