Eurasian Economic Commission Council agreed on draft decisions for the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council's meeting

MOSCOW. December 23. KAZINFORM - The Eurasian Economic Commission's Council (EECC) has draftred documents for the upcoming meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council at the level of the presidents of Kazakhstan, Russia and Belarus, as announced by Kazakhstan PM's first deputy Bahytzhan Sagintaev, who is chairing today's EECC meeting in Moscow.

"In 2013, the EECC considered over 80 issues concerning the development of potential of the Customs Union and Eurasian Economic Community. The EEC board looked into more than 300 issues and has made decisions on them, which are being implemented in practice,"- B.Sagintaev said.

Kazakh first deputy PM added that currently most pressing issues are codification of the legal framework of the CU and EEC as well as drafting a Treaty on the establishment of the Eurasian Economic Union.

B.Sagintaev noted this year's tangible work on the expansion of the Customs Union. "We have almost completed working on the "roadmap" for Kyrgyzstan and Armenia's accession. The EEC Council has signed these documents. Tomorrow, the Supreme Eurasian Council will consider these issues at the level of heads of state ,"- he said.
