EurAsEC states signed joint statement to continue integration of education systems

EurAsEC Deputy Secretary General Murat Mussatayev, education ministers of Kazakhstan, Russia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan are taking part in the meeting.

Today in the morning the ministers considered a number of issues related to the mutual recognition of educational programs, educational documents, scientific degrees and academic titles within the Eurasian Economic Community; training of scientific personnel; introduction of credit-module system of education; expansion of academic mobility.

They also signed a join statement, in which they reaffirmed their readiness to continue the integration of education systems, harmonization of national laws governing the educational activities and exchange of relevant regulations.

An international seminar on academic mobility with the participation of more than 50 foreign and 70 Kazakh universities will start in the afternoon.
