Ethnic repatriation and migration to be debated in Almaty

ALMATY. September 1. KAZINFORM /Sara Mustafina/ A roundtable titled "Ethnic repatriation: the Kurultay decisions and new law of the Republic of Kazakhstan on migration" is to be held in Almaty on September 6. Organizer is the World Association of Kazakhs.
The meeting participants will discuss implementation of the Kazakh President's instructions given at the IV World Kurultay of Kazakhs which was carried out in Astana in May, 2011. Besides, the issue regarding ethnic repatriation in Kazakhstan in the light of the new law on migration will be discussed.
Heads of the Migration Policy Committee of the Kazakh Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Education and Science, members of the Ethnic Repatriation Council under the Migration Policy Committee as well as representatives of foreign Kazakh Diaspora will take part in the roundtable.
