Estonia, Finland interested in transport coop with Kazakhstan

Vice Minister of Transport and Communications Yerkyn Dyusembayev met with the delegation headed by Honorary Consul of Kazakhstan in Estonia Carl-Jüri Piht. The delegation consisted of Honorary Consul of Kazakhstan in Finland Seppo Lindroos and Honorary Consul of Estonia in Kazakhstan Bibigul Balpyk.
Mr. Piht informed that the Tallinn port is interested in investments and construction of a terminal for transshipment of oil products, coal, metal and grain provided that a free economic area is established. It will allow Kazakhstan to approach European markets directly. Besides, Estonia is interested in the issues of railway tariff formation.
Mr. Seppo Lindroos expressed readiness of the Finnish market to purchase Kazakhstan's goods.
Summing up the meeting's results the Vice Minister noted the necessity of creation of a working group including representatives of the Ministry and Samruk-Kazyna National Welfare Fund for consideration of the Estonian and Finnish proposals.
