Ernst & Young company surveyed investment attractiveness of Kazakhstan

ASTANA. May 22. KAZINFORM Ernst & Young company presented the results of a survey of investment attractiveness of Kazakhstan at the plenary session of the Foreign Investors Council today, Kazinform has learned from the Prime Minister's official website.

Existing and potential investors from 87 countries were interviewed for the survey.

"In accordance with the survey, Kazakhstan was recognized as one of the three most attractive investment markets by 85% of existing and 18% of potential investors," Yerlan Dosymbekov of Earst & Young said at the session.

39% of respondents recognize macroeconomic environment of Kazakhstan as stable. Kazakhstan joined the top three fast-growing markets of the world.

According to respondents, positive macroeconomic forecast, sustainable relations with business partners, rich resources base and favorable geographic location are the main factors strengthening the investment attractiveness of the country.
