Environmental memorandum signed in Aktobe

AKTOBE. KAZINFORM - April 24 Aktobe region's Governor's A. Muhambetov, Deputy General Director for Marketing and Commerce of "KazTransGas" JSC Rustam Suleymanov and founder of LLP "Capital Gate Kazakhstan" Gregory Vojack signed a tripartite memorandum of understanding and cooperation.
The memorandum provides for implementation of associated gas utilization through the construction of the gas processing facility at "Kozhasai" field which is being development by LLP "Kazakhoil Aktobe". The parties agreed that Capital Gate Kazakhstan will build a plant worth 18.5 billion tenge (or $100 million). "KazTransGas" will install a gas pipeline from the gas processing facility to the existing main line, the regional Akimat will provide land parcels for the gas processing facility and the pipelines. "KazTransGas" and "Capital Gate Kazakhstan" will ink necessary agreements on associated gas processing, purchasing gas from mining industries of Aktobe region. It is expected that the project will be completed December 31, 2016.
