Enterprises launched as part of industrialization export products to 110 countries – PM Akhmetov

"The government considers the State Program of Forced Industrial-Innovative Development one of the most important programs of industrialization of our country. The program achieved a number of important indicators of socio-economic development. For three years of its implementation the number of people employed in manufacturing sector increased by more than 9%, more than 550 projects were put into operation, goods to the amount of 2 trillion tenge were produced. As part of the launch and further operation of industrial and innovative projects 1 trillion tenge was paid in taxes," he said.

Akhmetov noted that the new businesses produce about 250 new products, which are exported to more than 110 countries.

"New industries appeared in Kazakhstan. For example, machine-building industry. And this trend continues," he noted.

Akhmetov said that government support of business within the Program of Forced Industrial-Innovative Development and other sectoral programs allows to attract about 100 tenge from private investment per 1 tenge from budget funds.
