ENRC Company's projects in Pavlodar oblast to be completed in time

PAVLODAR. January 7. KAZINFORM /Vera Livintsova/ The investment projects launched by ENRC Company in Pavlodar oblast will be completed in time, Governor of the region Bakytzhan Sagintayev said it at a session yesterday.

As is known in 2010 Kazakhstan has set to implementation of its five-year program on country's forced industrial-innovative development. Under this program Pavlodar oblast has launched 15 investment projects to the sum of KZT 210 bln.

Construction of the second stage of the plant on primary aluminum production was included in the list of breakthrough projects. According to President of Kazakhstan Electrolysis Plant JSC Almaz Ibragimov, 72 electrolysis units have already been put into service here. The second stage is planned to be commissioned in May-June 2010.

Among other important projects are restoration of the second energy unit of Aksu Thermal Power Station and construction of a workshop on agglomerate production at Aksu Ferroalloys Plant. The second project costs around KZT 7.2 bln.

Summing up the results of the session the Head of the oblast said: "All projects initiated by ENRC are financed and implemented on schedule. I am confident they will be put into operation in due time".

In whole, the region plans to realize 49 projects in five years. 25 of them will be completed in 2010.
